DELAYED ISSUE
Hey,
So, there was a long delay while Orthodox Easter was on, and then I got sick. Is there a connection between eating for an army and then getting sick?
I have a more visual issue this week with some awesome illustrations celebrating the Avengers. If that's not enough bandwagonning, I also found a cool GoT map.
There's a great cassette animation made with CSS for the old skoolers. And, an AI that makes "almost funny" dad puns, which basically means it works perfectly.

Somehow these are even better than the film. Much love for Ant-Man.

Things I wish I knew before starting a blog. ✍️
I miss the old days when blogs were the dominant platform on the internet. So, as part of my long-delayed return to blogging I have been reading through our guide that covers all of the necessary steps.

Imagine the world's leaders getting around the campfire and singin' about peace.
Deep fakes are pretty shady but there is some comedic value on offer here. In the video John Lennon's 'Imagine' is lip synced by all you favorites. The best bit is when V. Putin does the Yoowhoooo

Have they faked me?
THis website will search a database of GAN images to see if your likeness has been faked. Generally, I am wary of these sites because of the potential for image collection but it is a funky idea.

Performing a Houdini? Arguing for the value of carousels. 🎠
I think most people, sane people, agree that carousels are the pop-up ads of legitimate web design. The only time I bother with them is on portfolios, galleries. This article makes a case for carousels as tools of user empowerment which is an interesting take considering they are, for sure, inaccessible.

Star Wars Imperial styleguide. 🛰️
Included in this issue because I have a soft spot for personal projects like this. It's also a very handy guide if you plan to avoid, and you really should, Vadar's death grip.
