PROSTHETICS MADE WITH LEGO 💫 CATS THAT DON'T EXIST 💫 CSS BLOCK EDITOR FOR WORDPRESS 🌟

Heya,

It's been a big week for us with GAN images becoming the coolest thing you can do with your spare time. I found two: one funny and one terrifying.

I also found the best way to relive the 80s while also being an alien for a few hours; some amazing animations; and a gallery site that looks exactly like a heavy, expensive, art book.

Finally, I like to share Lego related goodness, but it's not NSFW this time.

🕸️ The Cool Side of the Web

Follow up from last week #1: AirBnBs that don't exist. 🈳

If you're looking for the gold; check out the descriptions:

Swimming pool with access to Berlin!

There's also a mini fridge in the toilet. You can use the fridge*

Lovely, clean and comfortable house at the city centre in the perils.

Follow Up #2: GAN makes images of cats that don't exist.

You need to keep the "does not exist" firmly in mind when you visit this one. There are some malevolent moggies in this one.
For me, the worst of the worst occurs when a human somehow gets in the frame. It becomes a Dali-an moment of fantasy and nightmare.

The site has been a little shaky today, so you might need to give it a few bashes.

From my Reddit pile: Beautiful data meets animation in the growth (and decline) of the top 15 global brands. 🤑

I'd love to be a fly on the wall as Apple flew past Microsoft:
"Thanks for the loan!"
"Here's your *** money back, suckers!"
and so on.

All the Prince GIFs sorted by album. 👑

You know Prince is great because:

  1. He made a soundtrack to one of the best Batman movies.

  2. He only appeared as the Joker in the videos.

Stuffed dogs and stuffed puppies from The Shelter Pups.

Send these guys a picture of your dog and they'll make a stuffed version of it. All proceeds go to animal shelters.

Update: They also make stuffed cats. Please don't send GAN images to these wonderful people.

Lordess Foudre is an internet artist with whom I am in love.

These are really, really nice with their post-golden age of sci-fi meets late 60s rock album vibe.

Caustic is a fluid simulation that was built in a weekend.

This is incredible. It took me a weekend to work out how to use it.

Capture screenshots from the terminal with a range of different options. 📷

You can use the options to create Retina images, simulate devices, full scrollable page, and wait for DOMs to appear. Very handy.

I was out on a nice scroll when I found this gallery site which perfectly captures the art book experience using animations and parallaxes. With the type and all. 🤤

Outro

Well, that's another week done and dusted.

If you have better suggestions for what Apple as it left Microsoft in the dust, then I'd love to hear them via Twitter if need be.

If you're of a mind to take a run at running this puppy for a week, then let's chat some more.

If you are the forwarding type, bless you, then forward away to your friends, dear ones, mortal enemies. We welcome all relationship types here.

If you just arrived, and you'd like more, then sign-up here. *Open all hours.

Other than that, I'll see you next week.
