📳 DO YOU EVEN TEXT, BRO?

Heya,

Great ideas are easy to come by; living up to them and seeing them through...well, that there is more complicated.

This week we celebrate two brave souls who got it done. I found two 10/10 for commitment links this week. We have the power of randomness and the comfort of order. BizarroDevs brings binaries together.

I scuff my shoes with a time warp in Vegas baby, Vegaaaaas, the end of the meme era, some cool tools using science, and more.

🕸️ The Cool Side of the Web

Brutalist Web Design removes the fluff and doubles down on the content.

However, it really depends on accepting the definition that a website is a method for delivering content only. Some of the principles are nice tho; no excessive pagination is something I can get behind.

As far from Brutalist Web Design as you can get.
I know there are people, like my best friends, who would have gotten out of there the minute they saw it. But I didn't. I gotta admit somethin', I liked it.

Restaurants are using facial-recognition software to remember how you like your burger. 🍔

Gotta be honest this one kills me. I instituted a restaurant rotation precisely to avoid being recognized.
Do I have a burger problem? Maybe.

Massively inappropriate
AI researchers propose the technique would be useful for crime investigations, then they say it can only identify people from Malaysia, Iran, China, India, and Bangladesh.
