Sliced ketchup will soon be a thing. What about the catsup? The coolest, eco-friendly technology on the planet 💞🌏
I LIKE MY KETCHUP MEDIUM-RARE 🍴
Heya,
This week I tried spreading my tech wings wider. I found some...interesting applications of technology.
I finally have enough odd websites to share, so it's time to get them out of the queue.
Also, there's some cool tools for devs, UX designers, and marketers. I stumbled across some inspiring lessons about leadership, get it in ya.
WordPress will be 15 this year, so I brought the category back to celebrate.
At the end, I have some pretty sweet videos and trippy sporting images.
Trivia: Who invented the word "robot"?

Accepted wisdom tells us that you can't win friends with salad, but what about a plant based burger?
It seems the answer is kinda. French parliamentarians are taking down producers who use terms like sausage, bacon, filet in products that have no meat.
Personally, I like both "Almost Bacon" and "Not-Dogs".
Seriously, Not-Dogs are really, really good.

The coolest, eco-friendly technology on the planet 💞🌏
Call me crazy, but if I had to choose between eco-friendly tech and giant robots then I'm going with the eco-tech.
You might have seen these edible packets from two weeks back.
I also spied this one about a polymer which can be used like a giant sponge to absorb waste materials from the ocean.
Not only is it made from recycled materials, it also works well on oil spills. The best bit? Australians were heavily involved in the research. Oi oi.

A fit bit for your *ahem* 😳
I'm not 100% sure this one will make the cut, but if it does then don't open it on the work 'puter.

Government accidentally sends file on "remote mind control" methods to journalist.
The title is a little clickbaity. The materials did come to the journalist via an FOI request, but they don't have the government brand.
The images are freaky enough, but the annotations are next level freaky.

Functional cyberpunk fashion: Headsets your baby will love.
The baby on the page seems so cool with it all. There is no way I could wear that headset while holding my son.
Still, they're pretty cool.

Reminds me of Ross, my lecturer who, at one stage, ran a flea circus with his wife. I remember they made the camera lenses themselves, and I managed to find the videos here..

What would happen if a nuclear bomb went off in your backyard?
Rough. Again, another one that I am not sure will make it to your inbox.
But.
If it does, then you can use this website to see the effects of a nuclear bomb drop. Choose the location and the type of bomb, then read the statistics on impact.
Once again, I found this one to be a bit rough (but maybe it's the family man speaking).

The items were delivered to an exhibition space. It says ongoing but there have been no deliveries since 2nd March 2016.

Trivia: Josef Čapek invented the term "robot". But his brother, Karel, usually gets the credit. In a great gesture of brotherly love Karel wrote articles clearing up the etymology. Nice one bruv.
That's me done for the week, don't stop a-rockin'
